Live at the Rialto promises to be a laugh out loud filled extravaganza featuring the biggest comedy names around.
The first night launches on 1st of June 2019 headlined by 8 Out of 10 Cats ( C4) star Sean Lock. Also on the bill is Phoenix Nights and I’m Alan Partridge comedienne Jo Enright and unwitting star of ‘Shooting Stars’ (BBC2), ‘Dave’s One Night Stand’ and The Angelos Epithemiou Show’ ( C4), favourite Angelos Epithemiou.
SEAN LOCK is one of the UK’s most highly acclaimed and original comedians, making his stage debut over twenty years ago. His stand-up is the product of a hyperactive imagination combining hilariously surreal imagery and insightful observations on the human condition. Sean possesses one of the most fertile comic minds in the country. A regular on TV, in 2005 Sean became a team captain on Channel 4’s flagship panel show 8 Out of 10 Cats and the spin off 8 Out of 10 Cats does Countdown.
JO ENRIGHT has worked with many of the UK’s leading comedy writers and directors. Appearing alongside Peter Kay in Phoenix Nights, with Steve Coogan in I’m Alan Partridge and playing the female lead Sue, in Life’s Too Short, directed by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant. Jo has recently received rave reviews for the part of Angela in three series of ITV’s The Job Lot.
ANGELOS EPITHEMIOU takes a giant leap into the spotlight yet again in his new shambolic weird and wonderful new live spectacle. Angelos Epithemiou is the creation of critically-acclaimed performer, Dan Renton Skinner, who has starred in such blockbuster films as The Spy Who Dumped Me, High Rise, and Swallows and Amazons for BBC Films and such TV serial-classics as The Tracy Ullman Show, Friday Night Dinner, and The Wrong Mans.
This is a real opportunity to get up close and personal with three of the comedy circuit’s biggest stars.
